Whenever you're fishing Lake Erie, the chances of catching trophy walleye are typically pretty good, no matter the season.
At the end of a long fishing day on Lake Erie, it's nice to know you have the option for fish cleaning services (extra fee).
Sir Walleye Charters does not offer catch and release or sorting of fish of any kind. If it's a legal fish it gets counted. The reason being is every fish caught has the potential to die. We do this out of the utmost respect for Lake Erie.

The boat we run our fishing charters on is a Baha 299 Fisherman (30' in length). Very comfortable for up to 6 anglers. Our boat is roomy, with a 10.5 ft beam, hardtop, state of the art fishing technology, and is big enough for the big water of Lake Erie. Also equipped with a private head (restroom).
Deposits are non-refundable when a day is considered unsafe for chartered fishing. Our clients may pick another date within the same season calendar to reschedule.

We operate and fish out of Port Clinton and Lorain, Ohio. Our dock/meeting instructions are provided after booking and before your fishing trip.

Central Basin Lake Erie fishing is as good as it can be! We broke out our secret walleye catching weapon to get those walleyes to bite off the bottom and feeding.
Goodbye Lake Erie Western Basin, Hello Central Basin at Lorain, Ohio. Lake Erie walleye migration is on the move east and so are we. Fishing is incredible!
In the spring, Sir Walleye Charters on Lake Erie likes to jig for the spawning jacks (males in the month of April). We transition into drifting crawler harnesses and bottom bouncers in the month of May.
When summer starts to warm up in June, you'll find our fishing charter trolling up to 20-rods with crankbaits, spoons, etc. The boat is equipped with 2 electric downriggers and a fish hawk system for speed and temperature at the lure. We will use this tactic all the way through September.
Captain Kris has dedicated two decades of his life to fishing in the Western Basin of Lake Erie, spending six of those years as a full-time professional guide. He boasts an impressive US Coast Guard certification as a 25-ton Master Merchant Mariner. In addition, he is well-versed in First Aid and CPR techniques and holds a FCC VHF Marine radio operator's license.
His extensive experience and knowledge of the waters make him a trusted and reliable fishing guide for both novice anglers and seasoned pros alike. Captain Kris takes pride in providing a safe and enjoyable fishing experience for his clients, ensuring they have a memorable time out on the water.
